Gedong Base
The Gedong Litsea cubeba Demonstration Base is located in Gedong Village, Xinjie Town, Guanyang County, Guilin City, covering 333 hectares (5,000 mu). The base spans vast land with quality soil and abundant sunshine, and adopts modern agricultural techniques and equipment to create ideal growing conditions and provide managers with scientific data. The company also promotes environmental protection and sustainable development through rational crop rotation and ecological planting, protecting land and ecology while raising efficiency and quality. Litsea cubeba is rich in nutrients with broad market prospects, and demand keeps growing as consumers pursue healthier, more natural products.
Helong Base
The Helong Litsea cubeba Base is located in Helong Village, Guanyang Town, Guanyang County, Guilin City, covering 67 hectares (1,000 mu), plus another 200 hectares (3,000 mu) in Paojiang Village further up the valley. The land has a pH suitable for Litsea cubeba, rich nutrients and strong water retention, and the base sits at an elevation of about 600 metres, which favours the growth of the trees. The base also maintains ecological balance through rational crop rotation and pest control, improving both quality and yield. The trees are growing well, and each hectare is expected to produce about 9,000-11,250 kg of fruit once in full production.
Jiquan Base
The Jiquan Base is located in Jiquan Village, Wenshi Town, Guanyang County, Guilin City. It is scientifically planned into two sections, seedling cultivation and planting, to build a complete chain from quality seedling breeding to large-scale planting. The cultivation section covers more than 33,000 square metres (50+ mu) of bare-root seedlings and matches the natural conditions of Guanyang to meet the needs of Litsea cubeba industrialisation, with strict quality control and standardised management from seed selection and nursery to sales. In the planting section, land clearing and progressive planting on 200 hectares (3,000 mu) have been completed. The base is also exploring an under-canopy agroforestry model that makes full use of the hilly land of northern Guangxi: Litsea cubeba grows fast and reaches full production in three years, providing near-term returns. With scientific planning and refined management, the base revitalises rural land resources and drives household income growth and regional green transformation.
Xiaolong Base
The 2025 Guanyang County Sudong Village Litsea cubeba planting project is located in Sudong Village, Guanyang Town. It is built by Guilin Guanyang Liyun Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. and designed by Guangxi Jianda Management Consulting Co., Ltd. Planting follows a standard spacing of 2 m between rows and 3 m between trees (about 1,665 trees per hectare) across 67 hectares (1,000 mu). Forest land is leased from the village collective and local households, and farmers, including households lifted out of poverty, are hired to work on the base, benefiting 21 households. The construction period runs from January to November 2025, empowering rural revitalisation through industry and supporting steady income growth for farmers.
